Diagnostic Characteristics:
Paspalum boschianum differs from other species in this genus in having glumes (bracts at the base of the fruit) non-silky/ciliate along the margins and the surface is glabrous (without hairs). The fruiting panicle is equalled or exceeded by the leaves of the plant. This plant is an annual. The seed are round in shape.

Management:
Disturbance such as ATV trails, timber removal or any activity that results in increased erosion and weed invasion will be detrimental.
