Diagnostic Characteristics: This plant is a woody vine or climbing shrub with deciduous leaves. The upper leaves are merged at their bases and glaucous forming a disc around the stem. The tips of the lower stem leaves are rounded to emarginate. Flowers are yellow and are gibbous (buldge at the base).

Management: Exotic pest plants are a threat to this species and should be removed. Avoid creating access to the site through trail or road construction.
