Species Description:
Perennial herb.

Phenology:
Flowering Period: Early May to late June.

Diagnostic Characteristics:
Principal cauline (stem) leaves are deeply pinnately divided; the hairs on the inflorescence are straight and generally all pointing in the same direction and short, seldom as long as 0.5 mm.

Management:
Changes in moisture/hydrologic conditions could be detrimental to this species. Changes could result from overstory removal, stream/wetland alteration or impacts due to erosion. Exotic pest plants are a threat to this species.
