Open woods (Gleason & Cronquist 1991).

Species Description:
Annual herb.

Phenology:
Flowering Period: April-May.

Diagnostic Characteristics:
This wood-sorrel has large flowers (petals over 12 mm) and is a woodland species. Leaflets are up to 1.5 cm wide with green margins; flowers cymose and capsules with long hairs (villous).

Management:
Timber removal would be detrimental. Exotic pest plants are a threat to this species and should be removed. Avoid creating access to the site through trail or road construction.
